Beginning in 2009, Branson area visitors (and residents alike) have had an opportunity to vote for their favorite shows, restaurants, shopping and attractions. Area favorites are recognized by The Visitor Choice Awards sponsored by The Vacation Channel and found here on www.tvcbranson.com. The Vacation Channel is proud to support excellence in the Branson business community through the friendly competition of The Visitor Choice Awards.

Some improvements have been made to the voting program since it’s inaugural year in 2009. In addition to just voting for a favorite place to shop in the Branson area, voters can distinguish their favorite shopping center from their favorite retail store. There is also the addition of a new category, customer service, this category is a write-in ballot box that will reward a Branson business from any category for their excellence in serving our local residents and visitors.

All voting for The Visitor Choice Awards takes place on-line. Ballots are tabulated by MARKET[SOURCE] Research & Consulting who specializes in data collection and management. Visitors (and residents alike) can simply click The Visitor Choice Award link (top left) to vote during voting season. One ballot per computer, per category, per month, is allowed. Voters will also have an opportunity to write-in votes for any business not listed on the ballot. Voting is finished for the 2010 season, however 2011 voting information will be shared soon so check-back often!
